Planning Tips & Common Questions

To avoid any delays, make sure to plan your ground transportation before you start your trip. Check out the Rome2rio trip planner site for more ideas!

What is the best way for travellers to get from YXX to Vancouver?

Firstly, a company called Poparide offers carpooling services. Secondly, there are private shuttle bus companies - the Valley Airporter (YXX to SkyTrain and Reliable Bus (YYX to SkyTrain).Thirdly, the Fraser Valley Express Bus connects to the Metro Vancouver and TransLink Transit system. This bus does not stop at YXX; however, it stops at the Highstreet Shopping Centre, which is just a short cab ride away. Another option is a private bus company, such as Ebus or Rider Express (they both have stops in Vancouver). There are also two cab companies, Abby Taxi and Central Valley Taxi. Lastly, travellers can rent a car.

What is the best way for travellers to get from YXX to the ferry terminals?

Both Ebus and the Rider Express bus have multiple stop locations (Surrey, Vancouver, Richmond etc.) which will connect travellers to the TransLink system.  There are also shuttle services: Valley Airporter & Reliable Bus. Any of these services can connect travellers to the TransLink system (sky train & buses) and on to the ferry terminal. There is also the Fraser Valley Express Bus which picks up and drops off at the Highstreet Shopping Centre (a short cab ride from YXX). This will take travellers to the Carvolth Exchange in Langley and on to the ferry terminals via the TransLink system.
