Terminal

When does the terminal open?

The Abbotsford International Airport Terminal's hours of operation are 4:30 am to 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Please be aware that the terminal closes daily between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm and every evening at 11:30 pm. However, Guest Services (604-835-2956) is on-site 24 hours a day to provide assistance as needed. 

*Our operating hours will be adjusted to accommodate any flight delays or changes in schedule.

Are there luggage storage lockers available in the terminal?

Storage facilities or lockers are not available in the Terminal or near the Airport. Due to security issues, under no circumstances can personal property/items be held or stored at the airport.


Who do travellers contact for Lost & Found?

If the item was lost prior to security screening, please contact YXX Guest Services at 604-835-2956. View the YXX Lost & Found Policy here. 
If the item was lost after security screening, or on the aircraft, please contact your airline directly.

 
Is there a cash exchange on-site?

YXX does not have an on-site cash exchange at this time.


Are pets allowed in the terminal?

All animals must be crated while inside the terminal, with the exception of service animals.

Who do I contact regarding aircraft flight paths?

NAV Canada provides the air traffic management and flight information services in Canadian airspace and international airspace delegated to Canadian control. NAV CANADA is also responsible for the safe co-ordination and the efficient movement of aircraft, as well as the planning and managing airspace, including flight paths and airways used by airlines. I live near the Abbotsford Airport. How tall can I build my house?

Who do I contact regarding aircraft noise?
 

Transport Canada is the regulatory body that oversees all airspace related matters and administers the aircraft noise standards, working with third parties such as Health Canada, NAV CANADA and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
